Programas que según Microsoft no funcionan con el Service Pack 2 (SP2) de Windows XP

Microsoft  ha publicado una lista de programas de terceros y propios, que podrían no funcionar,  funciona mal o en forma diferente cuando se instale el nuevo Service Pack 2 de Windows XP.

Según Microsoft SP2 introduce varias características nuevas que ayudan a aumentar el desempeño y la seguridad del sistema. Estos cambios afectan también las operaciones y la funcionalidad de algunas aplicaciones.

Los programas que se listan a continuación, pueden experimentar serios problemas o dejar de funcionar después que se instale Windows XP SP2, algunos de los cuáles podrían no ser fácilmente advertidos por el usuario. Sin embargo, debe tenerse en cuenta de que aunque figuren en la misma, ello no significa que dejen de funcionar totalmente, pero si que algunas de sus características no se comporten de la forma en que fueron planificadas.

Es posible que muchos proveedores de software, resuelvan algunos de estos problemas en versiones posteriores de su software, y por lo tanto la lista puede ser objeto de modificaciones. Microsoft aconseja que ante las dudas, se contacte con el fabricante del programa afectado.

Muchos de estos problemas, están relacionados con las nuevas características del cortafuegos incorporado de Windows XP SP2.

Esta es la lista, por orden alfabético, del software que puede no funcionar o comportarse de forma diferente después de que se instale el SP2 . Entre paréntesis se indica el número de versión (cuando corresponda), y el vendedor.
